Sugary Goodness

My sister-in-law asked me to post this super easy caramel recipe so here it is.

Homemade Caramels

1 can sweetened condensed milk
using the emptied can, measure:
1 can Karo syrup
1 can white sugar
1 can brown sugar
3 cubes butter  (yes, 3!)

Mix all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Using a candy thermometer, allow mixture to reach a firm ball stage (248-255 degrees). Pour on to large cookie sheet, allow to cool at room temp. ENJOY!
