4th Fun Recap

After a quick get-away to Boise, ID, we're back home. We took off to Idaho for a Gray family reunion (Jordan's dad's brothers and sisters) and to see the newest addition to this Gray family of ours. (His name is Parker and he's a stud muffin!) It was fun to see Jordan's sister, Carissa, and her family (she is the one with the new baby). Liliane had the time of her life playing in this little backyard pool with Chloe.

I didn't think to bring swim diapers for her so I let her play in the water with just a regular one on. I couldn't stop laughing at how big it got! It probably weighed as much as her when I changed her out if it. She loved it though. I am sure happy to be done with the car ride. Liliane does really well on car rides (it amazes me), but I can only handle so much of sitting before it kills my back.

For the 4th we went to a brunch and an aunts house and got to ride a horse. That was fun. I think it would be kinda neat to someday have a horse. I know they are a lot of work,  and the require a lot of resources, but I still think it would be cool. Liliane's little 4th-of-July outfit was so cute! She had on this little jumper thing that made her look funny and cute at the same time. I loved it! And her shirt made her look like she had wings....but she pulled it off.
(She does this fake cry/pout thing now and you can see the beginnings of it in the picture. Its a hoot!)
I have a very goofy husband. The look on his face in the picture above tells it all. He can be such a little kid sometimes. Between him and Liliane, they both keep me young (not that I'm all that old anyway). Getting him to smile something normal for a picture is basically a lost cause at this point. I've given up that battle. I just take what I can get.

  1. I'm thinking about getting Tula a little pool...the only thing is she can't sit up yet... I might find myself sitting in it with her.
